Description
DF series Horizontal Ring Section Self-Balancing Multistage Centrifugal Stainless Steel Water Pump is designed to remove the mechanical balance drum, balance disc, balance socket and similar part, but achieve the balancing function by reverse circulation water pipe.
Such external bypass piping is designed for water flowing into the end of the pump from the suction side, and then reversely flow back to the discharge section in the middle, which makes the water flowing from both sides of the discharge section.
It will balance the axial thrust caused by the high pressure impeller from both sides and escape the mechanical wears out as well as overloaded axial force of the traditional multistage pump, and ensure the stability and endurability of the pumpset.
It is designed to transfer the corrosive liquid like acid liquid, sea water, mining water with corrosiveness , and the pump can handling clean water, hot water, boiler feed water, corrosive liquids, oils, and abrasive medium by use different materials of construction, proper seal type, and external seal flushing plans.
These pumps generate increased pressure as the discharge of one enclosed impeller is routed to the suction of another enclosed impeller within the casing. Enclosed impellers limit the solids handling sizes of these pumps. In addition, and much like their vertical turbine counterparts, the efficiency and effectiveness of horizontal multistage pumps is dictated by the life of the wear rings and thin, multi-vane impellers.
